ISTEC Delivers Gun Mounts For Missile Launchers

Weapons platform manufacturer ISTEC Services has completed delivery of 65 mounts for the British Army’s Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS).

As per a press statement issued by the firm last week, the British company has recently fulfilled the delivery contract for its double swing arm Medium Machine Gun (MMG) solution installed on the upgraded A2 variant of the MLRS.

ISTEC had won the British Army contract, placed via the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), towards the end of 2023.

Operations Manager at ISTEC Adrian Webster commented: “We are extremely pleased to have won this important project to help upgrade the UK’s MLRS platform and ensure it is fitted with the best possible crew served weapons mount.

“We have years of experience in delivering this type of capability and we also have other work in support of the MLRS programme that we will announce soon.”
