Romania's Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, is participating in the Conference dedicated to NATO’s equipping with ammunition and missiles, organized in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, over November 27-29.
The visit agenda also includes meetings with his British counterpart, Hon Grant Shapps, and the British Minister of State for Defence Procurement, James Cartlidge. Also, the Romanian official will meet with the Chief of Defence Staff of Great Britain, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin.
The bilateral meetings’ agendas included topics related to the security situation in the Black Sea region, in the context of Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine, the cooperation within the North Atlantic Alliance from the perspective of the implementation of the decisions adopted at the Vilnius NATO Summit as well as current and future subject matters related to the bilateral cooperation between the two armed forces, with focus on the Romanian Armed Forces’ procurement programs.
