Direct funding of UAH 2.5 billion will be provided to combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine every month. These funds will be distributed among brigades of the Armed Forces to procure drones.

In December, the Ministry of Defence has already allocated UAH 2.1 billion directly to combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to procure drones, enabling the rapid fulfillment of our brigades' needs and enhancing the diversification of centralized command.

“We have analyzed this experience and decided to scale up the initiative. Commanders of the units will have the flexibility to use these funds to acquire the drones that are the most effective for carrying out mission requirements at the front. This marks another step towards building a highly flexible system to ensure the military has everything necessary for Ukraine's defense,” noted Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
