Ukraine Shows Off Its "Battle-Tested" Weapons
Ukraine has been showcasing some of its most effective domestically produced weapon systems.
As per a recent Ukraine Ministry of Defence (MoD) press release Deputy Defence Minister Dmytro Klymenkov was present at the event, staged at a military training ground, which sought to showcase its battle-proven hardware to a variety of foreign partners.
The kit on show included Ukraine's home-produced 2S22 Bohdana self-propelled howitzer, its Stugna gun-launched anti-tank missile system, and a variety of armored vehicles, as well as a series of kamikaze drones and mine-clearance assets.
Also on show were a selection of Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) ranging from small First-Person-View (FPV) vehicles to large combat drones capable of flying deep into enemy territory.
At the event officials from the MoD and foreign partners discussed prospects for cooperation in the defense sector, while Mr Klymenkov made a speech stressing the importance of ongoing investment in the Ukrainian defense industry.
“We have unique products already tested in combat scenarios and finalized by the developers to a specific standard. Global weapon manufacturers and investors are encouraged to collaborate in enhancing our defense capabilities,” he said.
