Ukrainian “Dragon” Drones Breathe Fire On Russian Positions

Over the past few months, Ukrainian forces have seemingly increased the use of thermite dispensing drones. These “dragon” drones drop a highly combustible mix of aluminum powder and iron oxide, called thermite; the drones are primarily used to destroy foliage and fixed fortifications, where the Russians hide from detection and Ukrainian fire.

The drones represent just one more way the Ukrainians have used technology in a never-ending war of adaptation.
