In a sign of the growing innovation of the Ukrainians, their Ministry of Defence has approved the use of a computerised training system for artillery gunners. The system, developed domestically by Ukrainian engineers, reportedly can give training on a variety of artillery systems, amounting to a boost to a military with a wide array of both donated and domestic platforms.

According to the Ukrainian MOD, users of the system are able to “… simulate the execution of fire missions, analyse their completion, review the actions of each combat crew member, and receive recommendations for error correction.” While the system can replicate much of a gunner's in-person training, it is only meant to supplement the training. However, due to the system being contained within a suitcase-sized container it allows for further training outside of expansive training centres.
