Brigadier General Arnaud WEIXLER was born in Strasbourg (France) on 20th October 1966. Arnaud Weixler belongs to the Saint-Cyr Military Academy (Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr) lieutenant Tom Morel promotion (1987-90). Following his basic officer training course in the Army Logistic School, he joined in 1991 the 6 th Service Support and Command Regiment (which took part in DAGUET 1st Gulf War operation) belonging to the French Rapid Reaction Force.

During these years, he was deployed on operations and overseas missions in former Yugoslavia and French Guyana. He commanded the 2nd squadron of the 601st traffic and control regiment from 1996 to 1998 in Arras. After attending the Army staff College in 2000 in Compiegne, he succeeded the Army War School competition and joined the Defense College in 2002 in Ecole Militaire of Paris.

In 2017 he was appointed in France for 2 years, Deputy of the Operational Army Headquarters within the Land Forces Command in Lille. In 2019, he was assigned to the Operations Planning and Conduct Centre in Paris as chief J4 responsible for support and logistic issues regarding ongoing operations. There, he has organized, given orders and ensured the implementation of logistic support at strategic level for the French forces engaged in operations all over the world, including domestic operations. He has completed usefully his NATO skills and knowledge attending the Generals Flag Officers and Ambassadors course 2021-1 in Roma.

Brigadier General Arnaud Weixler is officer of the Legion of Honor, officer of the National Order of Merit, and hold the overseas medal for his Ivory Coast, BiH and Afghanistan operations.
