Biography
BG Hazot lives in the South of Israel, married to Shirley and is a
father of four.
Military Experience
1989: Enlisted in the IDF where he served for the Paratrooper Brigade. He went through a training course as a fighter, an infantry commanders course and served in that position until he graduated from the Officers Course.
1992-1994: Appointed as platoon commander in the 890th battalion and later served as a company commander in the same battalion.
2003-2005: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, therefore appointed as the commander of the 202nd battalion.
2005-2006: Student at the Inter Force College for Command.
2006-2008: Operations Officer of the 91 Division.
2008-2010: Deputy Commander of the Paratroopers Brigade.
2010-2012: Promoted to the rank of Colonel and served as the commander of the Yehuda Brigade.
2012-2013: Student at the College of National Education.
2015-2017: Commander of the Kfir Brigade.
2017-2019: Promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, served as the Commander of the 80th Division.
2019-2022: IDF attaché in Singapore.
2023- ongoing: With the outbreak of the Iron Swords war, BG Hazot was appointed to serve as the head of the operational learning system in the Ground Forces during the maneuvering.
