Joining Thales UK in Sept 23 as the Rotary Wing Avionics Business Development lead, he is responsible for Rotary Wing avionics and missions systems. Joining the Royal Navy in 1984 he completed 6 years on maritime operations as a surface fleet acoustics operator before transferring to the Fleet Air Arm in 1990 as an Aircrew Observer. Amassing over 3000 hours and operating both Fixed and Rotary wing aircraft as an operator and instructor he has served in numerous operational theatres across the globe in ASW, ASuW, AEW, SAR,
counter narcotics and maritime constabulary roles. Selected for squadron command 2012 he went onto complete a number of staff appointments in RAF Air Command in the UKMFTS programme and Navy Command as the Director of flying training, before leaving the service as a Commander. A warfare specialist and aircrew instructor, he is a qualified programme manager and holds an MSc In defence Acquisition from Cranfield University.
