Colonel Picot began her training in 1999, at the Institute of Engineering Sciences of Toulon and Var. Graduated from Saint-Cyr in 2003, she continued her career at the Cours supérieur d'Etat-Major in Paris. She spent the first part of her carrier in the field of intelligence and electronic warfare.
Between 2016 and 2019, Emilie Picot notably worked as a Program Officer at the Joint Space Command.
From 2019 to 2021, she held the position of military assistant to the Director General at the Human Resources Directorate of the Army in Paris.
Married and mother of 2 children, her most recent position prior to joining the Army Staff has been as head of the RSMA in Martinique for two years with a mission is the socio-professional integration of young Martinicans aged 18 to 25 who are far from employment.
