Brigadier General Grzegorz Potrzuski

Head of the Board of Missile and Artillery Forces,, Polish Armed Forces General Command

Brig. Gen. Grzegorz Potrzuski is the Head of the Board of Missile and Artillery Forces of the General Command of the Armed Forces. Responsible for the modernization, training and development of the Missile Forces and Artillery in the Polish Armed Forces. He graduated from the Officer Higher School. Józefa Bem in Toruń, majoring in barrel artillery. Additionally, he completed national studies at the University of Warsaw, the National Defense University, the Military University of Technology and the Kozminski University. He gained experience by serving in all command positions in artillery subunits and units as well as general military

tactical associations. He participated in missions abroad twice, in Kosovo and Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, he commanded the Polish Military Contingent. In the country he was, among others, commander of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.

Gen. Potrzuski is a graduate of the United States Army War Academy - US Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, where he completed general studies at Postgraduate Studies in Defense Policy. After returning to the country, he was appointed as the Chief of Missile Forces and Artillery of the 18th Mechanized Division in Siedlce, and then became the Chief of Staff of 18DZ. In October 2022, General Potrzuski was appointed as the Head of ZWRiA DG RSZ. On August 14, 2023, at the request of the Minister of National Defense, the President of the Republic of Poland appointed Col. Grzegorz Potrzuski to the rank of brigadier general.
