Captain John Montinola is assigned to the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support and is serving as the Director for Construction and Equipment Supply Chain.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from Old Dominion University
and also attended the Naval Postgraduate School where he earned a Master in Business Administration (Acquisition).

He served onboard the USS HAYLER (DD 997) and the USS TORTUGA (LSD 46). Ashore he served on the staff for

Germany; Mission Resources Director, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations – Fleet Readiness and Logistics (N4), Arlington, VA.

Captain Montinola is the recipient of the Admiral Stanley R. Arthur Award as the 2021 Military Logistician of the Year. He is part of the Acquisition Professional community, with
qualifications as a Joint Qualified Officer, Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer, and Naval Aviation Supply Officer.
