Colonel Juan Manuel Sánchez Coello
Since 1990, more than thirty years in Army. Beyond the tactical command of different AAVN units, I have also held the position of Deputy Director/Chief of Studies of the Army Aviation School, for the training of pilots, officers and non-commissioned officers, as well as all specialization courses linked to aeronautical world. I currently hold the position of head of the army's air resources logistics section, managing and controlling budget. Simultaneously head of the common helicopter support program of the SPMoD with the mission of coordinate the maintenance into the ministry, and its relationship with manufacturing companies to process the different contracts, manage the budget assigned to maintain the operational availability of NH90.
Extensive experience in international organizations, with four tours abroad Spain, working for UN, NATO or EU. Two of these missions were carried out in a tactical environment, with experience in airspace coordination in a NATO and UN HQ. The third mission required more administrative relations experience, managing/coordinating within the UN and Lebanon. The fourth, integrated into the EU delegation in Nairobi, within Operation Atlanta, this mission was focused mainly on international relations and coordination with the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the East African countries.
