Julian Wieczorkiewicz
Julian Wieczorkiewicz is an energy security analyst with a diverse background in diplomatic and policy roles. Currently, Julian contributes his expertise at NATO's Innovation, Hybrid, and Cyber division (IHC) where he deals with energy security. Between 2019 and 2023, he served as a desk officer for Russia at NATO's Political Affairs and Security Policy Division (PASP). Prior to his tenure at NATO, Julian held diplomatic positions at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including roles at the Polish Delegation to NATO and as a desk officer for the U.S. at the MFA’s HQ. Julian's experience also includes research roles at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels and the European Commission, where he focused on energy issues. Julian is a graduate of the College of Europe and the University of Warsaw. As a James S. Denton Transatlantic Fellow with the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), Julian has contributed to the discourse on energy and climate security through extensive publications and media engagements, including interviews with Bloomberg TV, the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal.
