Mr Luke Gallantree
Luke Gallantree is a Principal Engineer at Dstl and is the Land domains Technical Authority for Future Land Platforms Research and Development including Robotic and Autonomous Systems. He is responsible for setting the future strategic research direction on how Dstl will support the British Army field RAS capabilities in 2030 and beyond. He has led on previous projects including: RAS @ the Edge, Future Ground Combat System, 40mm Cannon, Novel Counter Mobility systems and the design and development of Dstl’s synthetic environment to support Future Platform experimentation.
He is the UK Principal Panel Member for the NATO Applied Vehicle Technology Panel, and chairs a number of research activities currently focusing on Augmented Reality and RAS. He is an officer within the British Army Reserve Forces and a Chartered Engineer.
