Major General Tibor KRÁLIK SVK

Major General Tibor KRÁLIK was born on November 5, 1966 in Zlaté Moravce, Slovakia.


Upon graduation from the Military Academy in Vyškov na Morave (Czech Republic) in 1989, he received the Engineer Degree in Management of Artillery Systems. From 2001 to 2002, he attended Defense Services Staff College in Wellington (India), and upon completion, he was awarded a Master of Science degree in Defense and Strategic Studies. In 2014 he graduated from the NATO Defense College in Rome (Italy).


From 1989 to 2003, Major General Tibor KRÁLIK was appointed to command and staff appointments at the tactical level. From 1997 to 1998, he also gained experience as the UN Military Observer in UNAVEM III and MONUA missions in Angola. He earned his first experience in the NATO environment from 2003 to 2005 as a Staff Officer for the Partnership for Peace Coordination, NATO Allied Command Transformation Staff Element at Partnership Coordination Cell in Mons (Belgium). Upon completion of that tenure, he was appointed to a
national strategic level of command, where from 2005 to 2008, he was appointed to the position of Staff Officer - Deputy Section Head (J5), Requirements and Long-Term Planning Staff, at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. From 2008 to 2011, he was appointed a Military Advisor for Strategic Planning at the Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the EU in Brussels (Belgium). From August to November 2011, he was appointed as a Deputy Branch Head of Operational Planning Branch, Staff for Operations, at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. From December 2011 to July 2016, he was assigned as a Branch Head of the Operational Planning Branch (Chief J3), Staff for Strategic Planning at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Slovak Republic. From September 2016 to July 2017, he was assigned as a Director-General of the Defense Management Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic. From July 2017 to December 2020, he was appointed as a Slovak National Military Representative to SHAPE, Mons (Belgium). From January 2021 to April 2022, he served as a Commander of the Strategic Crisis Management Center, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic.

As of April 15, 2022, he was appointed to Deputy Commander at the Headquarters Multinational Division Centre (HQ MND-C).
On July 31, 2023, he took over the position of Commander of HQ MND-C.
On October 24, 2023, he was promoted to the rank of Major General.
Major General Tibor KRÁLIK is married and has two adult children.
