Colonel Zoltán Bárány is currently the acting Commander of the Hungarian Defence Force Modernisation and Transformation Command. The organisation's task is to carry out, manage and supervise the warfare development, international coordination and scientific research activities carried out at the Ministry of National Defense and on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense at the MH level, as well as to support the reorganization of domestic defense research and development and transformation activities:
- by participating in the development of development concepts for the domestic military industry;
-using scientific research results;
- by supporting the leading role of the Ministry of National Defence,
- promoting the success of the Zrínyi Program,
- ensuring the enforcement of domestic national security, military strategic and economic interests.
