Combat Engineer & logistics
The annual Combat Engineer & Logistics conference is set to enter its 12th edition from February 10-12, 2026, in Krakow, Poland, a location of critical geographic and strategic importance within NATO’s defence structure.
The event will bring together key stakeholders from both the military engineering and logistics communities, offering a platform for networking, addressing capability gaps, and learning about the latest technological advancements and service-based solutions. Attendees will gain insights into future defence trends, emerging requirements, and the continued impact of increasing defence spending. Additionally, the conference will feature operational feedback and lessons learnt from recent programmes and exercises.
In light of recent developments, including ongoing global tensions and regional conflicts, the conference will examine pressing issues in logistics and engineering that have become crucial in modern warfare. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine, for instance, has underscored the importance of large-scale logistics efforts, as well as the need for multinational cooperation to ensure sustainable operations in times of crisis and war. Key challenges such as mobility, gap crossing, and anti-access area denial capabilities will also be explored, reflecting the dynamic nature of modern defence needs.
CEL26 will provide nations and organisations with the tools and knowledge to enhance both short-term preparedness and long-term force design, influencing procurement strategies and defence policies for years to come.
