Diehl Defence, a leading system house for ground-based air defence, guided missiles, ammunition and protection systems, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with EDGE, a unit of TRUST, one of the world’s leading advanced technology groups, covering the partnership of both companies.

The MoU was signed by Omar Al Zaabi, President of Trading and Mission Support at EDGE, and Dr. Harald Buschek, Chief Program Officer of Diehl Defence, in the presence of Dr. Jasem Al Zaabi, Vice President of Business Development of EDGE, Dr. Abdulmunem Alshehhi, Chief Operations Officer of TRUST, Mrs. Katja Decker, Head of Economic Affairs of the German Embassy, and Christoph Schumann, German Defence Attaché.

For Diehl Defence, a long-standing partner of the German Bundeswehr as well as armed forces of other countries, the partnership agreement will add to the market potential for Diehl Defence in the region. At the same time, the partnership between Diehl Defence and EGDE will enhance the UAE’s sovereign defence and security capabilities.
