Lieutenant Colonel Robert Rogólski

Personal Profile

Robert Rogólski, PhD was born in Warsaw (Poland) in 1975. He graduated from the Faculty of Armament and Aerospace of the Military University of Technology in 1999 (currently – Faculty of Mechatronics, Armament and Aerospace of the Military University of Technology, FMAA MUT) obtaining the degree of M.Sc. Eng. in aerospace engineering. In years 1999-2000 he performed his duties as an aircraft section commander in the military Training Centre of Aircraft Engineering of the Polish Air Forces. In 2000 he returned to the MUT to take up doctoral studies in the field of dynamics of aircraft structures. He received the Doctor’s degree in 2005. His professional and scientific interests are related to problems of aircraft construction and airframe strength, aeroelasticity, UAV design and prototyping, strength and dynamics of rotor machines. During his scientific and educational work (since 2000) he participated in over twenty research projects. At present he is an assistant professor in the Institute of Aeronautical Technology in the Faculty of Mechatronics, Armament and Aerospace of MUT. In the years 2016-2021 he was the head of the Department of Aircraft Construction and Operation which is the largest subunit of the Institute of Aeronautical Technology of the FMAA MUT. Since 2022, he has been conducting research in the newly launched Aircraft Strength and Fatigue Durability Laboratory.
