Colonel Guillaume BRIANÇON-ROUGE born on 1980, joined the army as a cadet at the Saint-Cyr Military Academy in 2000. In 2005, he joined the 3th Combat Helicopter Regiment in Etain, where he commanded attack helicopter squadrons.

In 2011, assigned to the army generak staff, he prepared for the war staff colleg entrance exam, which he passed. He completed his studies in the United States and joined the Army Aviation School in 2017, as an instructor to the captains. In 2020, he joined the Human Resources Directorate. Promoted to colonel in 2023, he was appointed to command the 3rd Combat Helicopter Regiment. He notably led the first experiments in drones piloting from helicopters.

Since the summer of 2025, he He commands the division of studies and foresight of the French army aviation general staff.

During his career, he participated in operations in Ivoiry Coast, Afghanistan, Djibouti and Niger.
