Colonel Drew Craig, British Army (late Royal Engineers), serves as the ACOS within the Engineer and CIMIC Branch at the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC). A Reserve officer with over 30 years’ service, his experience includes: defence and geospatial intelligence, CIMIC, infrastructure support, and CBRNE. He first became involved in the field of subterranean operations during his appointment as the British Army’s principal geologist, subsequently contributing to the foundation of the International Working Group for Subterranean Warfare, teaching on the US Army Urban Operational Planning Course and contributing to publications and doctrine. He is the secretary to the International Association for Military Geosciences and a Senior Fellow with the Urban Warfare Institute. Col Craig holds as Masters in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College, London, and is a mineral development specialist in the mining sector. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a Chartered Engineer.
