Lieutenant Colonel Tobias Christensson

Lieutenant Colonel Tobias Christensson served as Battalion Commander of the 71st Battalion in the Swedish armed Forces during the Bn deployment to NATO Forward Land Forces in Latvia 2026.

His operational background includes deployments to Kosovo (2003), Liberia (2005) and Afghanistan (2008). It also includes service with the European Union Training Mission Somalia (2011) and CO Recce Coy in Mali 2016. After two years of service at Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters, he became battalion commander at the 7th Mechanized Brigade.
