AeroGlow supplies the Hatch Lighting and Orientation (HaLO) Emergency Egress Lighting System (EELS). HaLO is a Blast, Rollover and Water activated EELS which is powered by Ultra Capacitors charged from the vehicle ignition. The HaLO system mitigates the risk of egress and drowning by lighting the hatches and doors in armoured vehicles following an event to assist crew to leave the platform safely. HaLO replaces ineffective photoluminescent strip hatch marking with a system proven to save lives. There are over 6,000 HaLO EELS systems currently in service on vehicles such as ACV, Boxer, MRAP, JLTV and AJAX. HaLO has been in service for over 15 years and is a proven TRL 9 system. It can be fitted to new capability or retrofitted to legacy vehicles.
