Brigadier Jamie Murray

Brigadier Jamie Murray is a senior British Army officer currently serving as Commander Operation CABRIT and Deputy Commander (DCOM) of the 1st Estonian Division, roles that place him at the heart of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence on the Alliance’s eastern flank.
Prior to his current appointment, he served as Commander of the 38th (Irish) Brigade, the British Army’s regional formation for Northern Ireland, where he was responsible for Army engagement and activity across the province.
In his current role, Brigadier Murray leads the UK’s contribution to NATO’s deterrence mission in Estonia, commanding a multinational force that works alongside Estonian, Danish, French and other Allied troops in a continuous, combat-ready posture on NATO’s northeastern flank.
