ACOS Engineer, NATO Land Command
Graduating from the Royal Military College (RMC) in Kingston, Ontario in 1996 with a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering, he was posted to 2 Combat Engineer Regiment in Petawawa where he was employed in various roles for three years. Completing an M.Eng. in Geomatics in 2002 at the University of New Brunswick, he was subsequently employed at Mapping and Charting Establishment (MCE) in Ottawa, and then returned to RMC’s Department of Civil Engineering as assistant professor. Leaving for Valcartier, Quebec in 2007 to be the Garrison Construction Engineering Officer, he returned to Ottawa in 2009 as the Staff Officer to the Vice Chief of Defence Staff until 2011.
Simultaneously working at ADM(IE) in the Directorate of Real Property Management, he completed the US Marine Corps Command and Staff Course in 2012, returning to MCE as the Deputy Commander. Upon promotion in 2013, he was appointed the Commanding Officer of Engineering Services, 2 CDSG. Following Command, he became DComd Canadian Forces Real Property Operations Group, leaving the Group on promotion to Colonel for 2 years to complete the National Security Programme and subsequently be DCOS (Support) at Canadian Joint Operations Command, before assuming Command of CF RP Ops Gp in 2019. In 2021, he assumed the role of COS to Assistant Deputy Minister (Policy), before taking up the responsibilities of ACOS GENG in 2025.
