LCol Soldaat was a leading tactician, instructor and military historian in the Netherlands Army. He was Chief J5 of RC South, Chief G5 of the VJTF(L)-19, analysed and led many battlefieldtours. Currently he is leading the Lessons Learned UKR desk within the Landwarfare Centre.
