Colonel Piotr Adamski

Colonel Piotr Adamski is a senior Polish Armed Forces officer with extensive experience in military command and control, communications and information systems, cyberspace operations, and NATO multi domain operations. He graduated from the Faculty of Electronics of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw in 1996 and began his military career in command support units, subsequently holding a broad range of command and staff appointments at tactical, operational and strategic levels.

Throughout his career, Colonel Adamski has combined operational command experience with expertise in the development, planning and employment of military CIS and C2 capabilities. He served in the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces in senior specialist positions within the J6 structures, commanded a NATO Command Squadron in Brunssum, and served as Deputy and Acting Commander of the 9th Command Support Brigade. He also completed the National Security Programme at the Canadian Forces College in Toronto.

From 2018 to 2022, he was Head of the Operations and Training Branch within the Command and Communications Systems Support Directorate of the Armed Forces General Command. From 2022 to 2025, he served at Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum as Assistant Chief of Staff J6 Cyberspace, gaining extensive experience in multinational joint and multi domain operations, NATO command and control, communications and cyberspace capabilities.

Since 2025, Colonel Adamski has served in the Command and Control Directorate (J6) of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces as Principal Specialist and Advisor to the Chief of Directorate. His current professional focus encompasses the development of future command and control capabilities, resilient and interoperable mission networks, military CIS, cyberspace, and the integration of emerging technologies into the operational environment.

With extensive national and NATO experience, Colonel Adamski brings a practitioner’s perspective to discussions on the evolution of military C2, future mission networks, interoperability and the ability of armed forces to operate effectively in contested and increasingly complex information and cyberspace environments.
