Colonel Sebastien Charpentier

Colonel Armament and ENSTA graduate, Sebastien Charpentier joined the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) in 2002. He started his career with 7 years in missile testing activities, conducted in close cooperation with operational forces and industry. He then moved on to programme management, spending 16 years managing a wide range of missile systems including deep strike, air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities for the French Air Force and Navy, and also contributing to current and next-generation aircraft programmes. He gained experience in multinational cooperation programmes and collaborative combat concepts.

Prior to joining OCCAR in early 2026 to lead the MAST-F Programme Division, he served as Head of weapons systems programmes for Air Combat Management Unit.
