Personal Profile

Born: April 17, 1978, in Saveni, Romania;

Military branch: transportation.

Currently appointed as commander of NFIU Romania.

He graduated the Military High school in 1997 and the Land Forces Academy in 2001.
Since then, he has held positions in logistics, training, and exercises in both, Romanian military structures and NATO military structures, including: the HQ Multinational Division South-East, the Romanian Joint Force Command, and the Joint Force Command Naples, Italy.
The previous structure where he served before NFIU ROU was the Romanian Land Component Command (ROU LCC).
Abroad missions: Afghanistan, 2012-2013 as staff officer within RC-South/Kandahar (ISAF mission).
While serving at JFC Naples, he was part of the JFCN OPR team (OCE) that successfully coordinated the Steadfast Defender 2021 exercise, which included several phases, including the VJTF deployment to Romania.
He is married and has a daughter.
