Nils Hinrichsen

Nils Hinrichsen is the Director of eSim Games Deutschland GmbH, with 25 years of experience in modeling and simulation. From 1988 to 1998 he served as a tank officer in the German Bundeswehr. eSim’s premier product, Steel Beasts Professional, has been adopted by more than a dozen armies on three continents for crew training, tactical exercises, and recently for mission preparation and rehearsal as well.

eSim is an independent software developer with 20 team members on two continents, and an exceptionally high teeth-to-tail ratio of 15 creatives, the rest in quality assurance, cutomer support, and sales.

Nils Hinrichsen studied Industrial Engineering in Hamburg and Albstadt. As a stereotypical German, he thinks that further text about his person is inefficient and invites you to spend time thinking about how simulation can help us all to increase force readiness, to learn faster, and with less blood spent as tuition fees.
