Anduril Industries and Voyager Technologies have signed a strategic partnership to speed up the development, testing, qualification and production of technologies for advanced U.S. weapon systems and missile defence, according to Anduril Industries.
The two firms already work together on several strategic weapons programmes, including some of the Department of War’s highest priorities. Voyager holds contracts worth more than $60 million to supply Anduril with solid rocket motors, divert and attitude control systems, and other advanced capabilities. The new agreement formalises that relationship and creates a shared pipeline of further programmes.
Focus on high-rate production
The partnership centres on manufacturing as programmes move towards sustained, high-volume output. Both companies plan to draw on combined investments worth billions of dollars in testing and production infrastructure.
Voyager has committed more than $500 million to propulsion, energetics and manufacturing capacity. “This partnership converts that investment into production programs today,” said Matt Magaña, President of Space, Defense & National Security at Voyager.
Expanding Southern California footprint
Both firms operate engineering teams in Southern California, which the companies say enables faster design, integration and prototyping. Anduril is building a 1.18 million square foot campus in Long Beach, California, due to open in 2027. It adds to production lines already running at Arsenal-1 in Columbus, Ohio.
Voyager is developing its American Defense Complex in Pueblo, Colorado, to cover design, testing, qualification and high-rate production. At full scale, the site would support roughly 15,000 to 20,000 propulsion systems per month across Voyager’s portfolio.
Palmer Luckey, Anduril’s founder, said the partnership builds on work the companies have already proven together. He said it reflects a shared commitment to rapid iteration and delivery for complex security challenges.
